NDA, NA exam qualifiers Patna : Twenty-three cadets of Sainik School Nalanda have cleared the written stage of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The examination was held on Sept 13. The successful cadets are now eligible to appear for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview conducted under the Ministry of Defence.

School authorities said special SSB orientation classes would be organised for the qualifiers to prepare them for the interview and assessment process. The cadets are competing for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 158th Course and the 120th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), both scheduled to commence on July 1, 2027.

Colonel Bhupender Kumar, principal of Sainik School Nalanda, congratulated the cadets and their parents. He said the result reflected the cadets’ discipline and faculty mentorship, and reiterated the school’s focus on preparing students for leadership roles in the Armed Forces.
