AEW On "AEW Dynamite", Adam Copeland made the surprising announcement that 2027 would be his last year as an in-ring competitor . With the injury to his tag team partner, Christian, Copeland felt like it was the right time to wind down his in-ring career. He made the announcement after qualifying for the Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream.

Recently, Copeland posted a list of venues to Instagram. Arena Mexico and Wembley were checked off. In the photo, Copeland is holding a pen next to Maple Leaf Gardens.

He was able to check that off on October 3 when he faced Steve Maclin in MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling . The final venue on the list is the iconic Tokyo Dome. During the WrestleDream media call, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of Copeland being able to wrestle at the final venue on his list before he hangs it up next year.

Khan replied that it was a very fair question. "I will say that I will keep that between myself and Gedo and Adam. But, I am very cognizant of what you're asking and that's a very fair question to ask.

I would say stay tuned on that," Khan replied. MJF recently challenged NJPW G1 Climax winner Ryohei Oiwa after a social media exchange in August. It is unclear when and where the match will happen.

At NJPW's King of Pro Wrestling, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega both announced their returns to the promotion . Omega will face IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji and Boltin Oleg in a three-way match at Power Struggle on November 3. If Omega is successful, he will challenge Tsuji for the title at Wrestle Kingdom 21 in the Tokyo Dome.
