schedule 2 Min Read Beacon Pointe Advisors is adding a trio of advisory teams collectively overseeing about $1.2 billion in client assets. The firm is closing deals with WorthPointe Financial Planners, a California- and Texas-based firm overseeing about $1 billion in client assets; Silver Lake Capital Partners, a Texas-based team with $200 million in assets under management; and R Meier Wealth Management, a $150 million AUM firm.

According to Beacon Pointe CEO Matt Cooper, the firms shared “a deep commitment to their clients and a belief in the value of comprehensive financial advice,” and Beacon Pointe was excited about “expanding the resources available to the clients and communities they serve.” The deals will bring Beacon Pointe’s total assets under advisement to about $70 billion.

WorthPointe works with individuals and families offering financial planning, investment consulting, estate planning, asset protection, charitable giving and employer-sponsored retirement plan guidance, among other services. The firm was founded in the early 2000s and has locations in Austin and Tyler, Texas, as well as San Diego and Orange County, Calif.
