Roberts is the younger brother of former Bulldog Noah Roberts and the son of Bulldogs VP of Hockey Operations Gary Roberts. The 17-year-old forward was selected in the first round (16th overall) of the 2025 OHL Priority Selection. Brantford now has four players from that first-round draft class including Kaden McGregor (first overall), Aleksander Sementsov (18th overall) and David Buchman (20th overall).
Roberts, who has three assists in seven games this season, will make his debut on Saturday when the Bulldogs host the Kingston Frontenacs in a 4 p.m. game at the TD Civic Centre. Brantford wraps up its week with a home game on Sunday at 2 p.m. against the Ottawa 67’s. Visit www.brantfordexpositor.ca for results from the games.
