The Salem Railway Division will be organising Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5.0 throughout November. In a release, the division said the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare is organising the nationwide DLC Campaign 5.0 from November 1 to 30. The objective is to improve the digital empowerment of pensioners.

The Ministry of Railways is collaborating in this large-scale initiative to facilitate the submission of DLC for railway pensioners at mega camps across the country. This initiative aims to enable pensioners and family pensioners to submit their life certificates digitally in the month of November on the Jeevan Pramaan Portal.

Apart from the camps across the division, an additional DLC facility will be organised at the Pass Section in the Salem Divisional Office on all working days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout November, the SRD added in the release. Published - October 30, 2026 11:13 pm IST
