BF Resynced's New Game Plus update out tomorrow by Liam Croft 23 mins ago Ubisoft will share an update on the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise later this week, in a Fall 2026 Update that is scheduled to go live on Thursday, 29th October 2026. In the broadcast, head of content Jean Guesdon will "share another update on what’s ahead for Assassin’s Creed.
While there won’t be any major reveals, we want to keep you informed on the franchise’s progress." In terms of upcoming entries, we know Ubisoft still has Assassin's Creed Hexe and Assassin's Creed Invictus (both are codenames) in the works, but besides that, little is known about the future of the series.
The publisher also previously said it would make more remakes if Black Flag Resynced performed well, and it has, with over 3.5 million units sold . The post states there won't be any major updates, so we're not going to get an entirely new project reveal here. Though, perhaps Ubisoft will confirm another remake is now in development, or show off a new trailer for a currently confirmed game.
Before then, though, the firm has shared the New Game Plus mode update for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced will go live tomorrow, 27th October 2026. Alongside the option to play the game again, there's also a Nightmare Mode and "plenty of new treasure" included in the PS5 patch.
We'll have the full list of patch notes here on the site tomorrow. Where do you want to see the Assassin's Creed franchise go next? Post your wishlist in the comments below. [source x.com ] Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid.
