ITC to manage Uttarakhand Welcomhotel

ITC will manage Welcomhotel in Uttarakhand. The hotel will be in Roorkee. It will offer 14,000 square feet of banquet space.

ITC HOTELS LTD. will manage the 171-key Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Roorkee Mandawar in Uttarakhand for M/s Mandawar Luxury Resorts. The 10-acre property is in Mandawar, Roorkee, along the Delhi-Haridwar Highway. The hotel will serve travelers visiting Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh and the Char Dham pilgrimage routes, as well as visitors to IIT Roorkee and nearby educational and industrial centers, ITC Hotels said in a statement.

It will offer an all-day dining restaurant, bar and lounge, 14,000 square feet of indoor banquet space, more than 20,000 square feet of outdoor event space, a swimming pool, spa and fitness center. “Uttarakhand continues to emerge as one of north India’s most compelling tourism and hospitality markets, driven by pilgrimage, leisure, and wellness demand,” said Anil Chadha, ITC Hotels managing director.

“Welcomhotel in Roorkee will offer guests an immersive experience rooted in Uttarakhand’s culture, natural beauty and cuisine.” Sanjay Bansal, Mandawar Luxury Resorts director, said the hotel aims to set a new standard for weddings in the region and contribute to tourism and economic growth in Uttarakhand.

Separately, ITC Hotels will manage the 104-key Welcomhotel Manesar Gurugram in Haryana for Green Path Prop Mart LLP.
