This year’s event will have 270 riding teams supported by 400 volunteers, with more than 90 per cent of participants having been touched by cancer, either personally or through family and friends. Perkins CEO Peter Leedman AO said the ride had seen an extraordinary show of giving and determination, with funds being put to work powering the next cancer breakthrough here in WA.
It has raised more than $82 million over the past 14 years and supports cancer research, drug development and trials of new drugs and treatments.
