Princess Diana ‘s younger brother Charles Spencer said Kristen Stewart nailed it in Pablo Larrain’s “Spencer” but called the movie “terrible” during an interview with Tina Brown at a McNally Jackson Books Event. Spencer, whose bombshell memoir “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister” has reignited tensions with the royal family and sparked a legal dispute with Piers Morgan, said he watched Larrain’s movie while on a flight and was struck by Stewart’s acting.

The 2021 movie, which earned Kristen Stewart an Oscar nomination for best actress, takes place during a fateful Christmas holiday weekend with the royal family, where the Princess of Wales ultimately decides to end her marriage to Prince Charles.

In that same interview with Brown, Spencer also admitted he never watched the Netflix hit show “The Crown” in which Diana is portrayed by Emma Corrin in season 4 and Elizabeth Debicki in season 5 and 6.
“I know that the person who acted that part has received lots of awards, so I’m sure she did a good job. I’ve not seen it,” Spencer said.
