‘Saur Samvad 2026’ to promote solar entrepreneurship across Maharashtra Pune: The Gopal Kabra Foundation, in association with GK Energy Ltd, will launch ‘Saur Samvad 2026’, a statewide initiative to promote solar energy awareness and create entrepreneurship and employment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

The campaign will run from Oct 12 to 18, beginning in Ahilyanagar at 9.30am on Monday. The initiative will cover 14 cities across Maharashtra , including Ahilyanagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Dhule, Buldhana, Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Washim, Nanded, Latur, Solapur, Kolhapur and Pune.

It aims to engage aspiring entrepreneurs from all 34 districts of the state. The campaign seeks to extend the benefits of solar energy beyond power generation by creating opportunities for local businesses, employment and economic growth. Special emphasis will be placed on encouraging young people and women to explore entrepreneurship, with a target of empowering more than 1,000 aspiring entrepreneurs.

“Both the central and Maharashtra governments have introduced several schemes to encourage the adoption of solar energy. This initiative will help create greater awareness about these opportunities and encourage more people to participate in the sector,” said Gopal Kabra, Chairman and Managing Director of GK Energy.
