The COROS DURA 2 Solar is Now Available

Announced last month, the COROS DURA 2 Solar is now officially available for purchase. The brand took a new approach to its pricing and overall design with the second iteration of its cycling computer, making it an intriguing option. Check out all the details below...

Though Neil released his full review of the new COROS DURA 2 Solar when it launched in late October, the brand didn’t make the computer available for purchase until today. The new iteration of the cycling-specific computer has received a lot of attention over the stark contrast in how COROS approached the design.

Despite the change in silhouette, most users in the comments were primarily displeased with the change in affordability. When the first DURA launched in late 2024, it shocked much of the cycling space with its capability, battery life, and great value. The DURA 2, while equipped with a bigger screen, similarly fantastic battery life, and a more universal attachment system, is effectively double the price of the original.

On top of the price increase, COROS has said it is discontinuing the original, much-beloved DURA. While some find these changes difficult, there’s no doubt the COROS DURA 2 Solar is a great option for anyone looking for a high-quality cycling computer with phenomenal battery life.

The DURA is now available through COROS for $499 without a mount or $549 with their standard mount. For more on the COROS DURA 2 Solar, visit COROS.com . Further Reading Make sure to dig into these related articles for more info...
