Not very alpha The Wolf Among Us Remastered, a celebration of Telltale’s most critically-acclaimed and genre-defining titles, was originally scheduled to launch for Switch Oct. 29th, 2026, which is the same date as other platforms. Unfortunately we’ve just learned that’s no longer the case, as Telltale has said Switch version will now launch “at a later date.” The team has said that they’re “taking addition time” to ensure Nintendo fans get the experience they deserve.

Finally, Telltale stated that they’ll share a new release date as soon as they can. Making its debut in The Wolf Among Us Remastered, Noir Mode offers a striking new way to experience Bigby’s first investigation, casting the characters and streets of Fabletown in monochrome and leaning even further into the mystery, moral ambiguity, and noir atmosphere at the heart of the original game.

With a presentation that pays homage to classic detective films, this reimagined version gives players a fresh way to experience Bigby’s first case. Rebuilt and refined for a new generation, this edition introduces players to the world of Fabletown, while welcoming longtime fans back to where it all began: Bigby’s first case, where a grisly murder reveals that something far darker is lurking beneath the surface of the city.

Across five episodes—“Episode 1: Faith,” “Episode 2: Smoke and Mirrors,” “Episode 3: A Crooked Mile,” “Episode 4: In Sheep’s Clothing,” and “Episode 5: Cry Wolf”—players investigate crimes, question suspects, and make difficult choices that shape the course of the story in a mature noir thriller where every decision matters.

To honor the original story experience, Telltale has brought Fabletown to life again through enhanced visuals, refined character and environment presentation, an updated user interface, improved accessibility features, and technical enhancements including upgraded animation, audio, resolution and framerate improvements.

In addition, players will have access to more than an hour of bonus content featuring behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, image galleries, and deleted scenes exploring the creation of the noir classic.
