Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Gets New Gameplay Sneak Peek

A new sneak peek of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was revealed at the TR30 Derby and MCM London. It’s been 30 years since players first controlled Lara Croft, and Legacy of Atlantis, slated for release in 2027, lets players relive that iconic adventure in a modernized version for today’s hardware.

Laura can be seen wielding dual handguns and a shotgun. She’s also shown swinging from structures and shooting at reptiles, just as she did when the game first released on the original Sony PlayStation, the Sega Saturn, and PC. The game will have three editions and a 48-hour early-access pre-order bonus, along with the ‘Survivor Outfit’, which lets players use the Lara Croft model from the 2013 reboot.

It was previously confirmed that this remake would be Canon to the Survivor Trilogy of the early 2010s. The game was announced at the 2025 Game Awards to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tomb Raider’s original release on the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn. At the same time, they also announced a new Lara Croft adventure, Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
