The NXT Tag Team Champions are headed to the Semi-Finals as Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes took down the makeshift team of Evolve’s Chazz “Starboy” Hall and AAA’s Mini Vikingo. Mini Vikingo’s athleticism was off the charts and not only did it frustrate the champions, it allowed him and Hall to nearly steal the victory in the opening minutes.

A Sasuke Special from Starboy gave way to a 450 Splash from Mini Vikingo, but not even that was enough to advance. A savvy move from Smokes allowed him to tag in and counter Starboy’s Shooting Star Press, enabling Vanity Project to execute Hit It And Quit It to win the match. Tristan Angels def.
