Published October 30, 2026 01:58 PM It’s currently unclear whether or not the Patriots will have two key offensive players for Sunday’s matchup against the Dolphins. Head coach Mike Vrabel said in his Friday press conference that both A.J. Brown (ankle/knee) and running back TreVeyon Henderson (illness) will be questionable for Week 8.

Brown was not spotted by multiple reporters during the portion of Friday’s practice open to media. He did not participate on Thursday either. Vrabel did not divulge much when it comes to Brown’s injury and his status.

“We’ll see how he comes in tomorrow and then we’ll make a decision ,” Vrabel said. “[He] just wasn’t able to be able to finish practice on Wednesday. So, we continue to treat him and we’ll see where he is tomorrow.” Vrabel also didn’t say whether or not there’s concern that Brown’s injury could keep him out long-term.

When asked about that, Vrabel said, “I’m just focused on today.” Linebacker Christian Elliss (chest) will also be questionable for Sunday.
