Anthasia Campbell On Miss UK Final

Anthasia Campbell will compete in the Miss England national final after receiving a wildcard invitation. The 25-year-old narrowly missed out on automatic qualification after finishing second in the People’s Choice vote at the semi-final last month. Ms Campbell will now compete in the final, which takes place at the Athena in Leicester on November 17.

The competition will feature several rounds, including public vote. She reached the semi-final after winning the Top Fundraiser and Talent awards at the East Midlands regional competition in Leicester in July. “I believe this round of the Miss England pageant will have a powerful and positive impact on young women in today’s society,” Ms Campbell wrote on social media.

“Living in a world surrounded by social media, filters, editing and AI, all of which can influence how we view ourselves and define beauty. “It is time to embrace authenticity, celebrate our natural features and remind young women that they are already enough. I am incredibly proud and excited to be a part of this positive change.” To vote for Ms Campbell, click here .
