(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP, File) NEW JERSEY (TNND) — Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly rushed from the New Jersey federal prison where he is being held on Saturday after experiencing a medical emergency.

Sources at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix confirmed to TMZ that Combs was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a head injury. Officials said he was conscious and speaking when he was returned to the prison. They have not said how he injured his head.

In September, Combs’ projected prison release date was moved up from June 2028 to Feb. 5, 2028. The change came less than a week after he was reportedly involved in a fight with another inmate at the federal correctional institution.

Combs was acquitted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering last year during an eight-week trial that found him guilty on prostitution-related charges . He was sentenced to four years and two months in prison. The trial exposed the private life of Combs, with testimony describing drug-fueled sexual encounters — referred to as “freak-offs” or “hotel nights” — that witnesses said could last for days.

Since his sentencing, Combs' projected release date has changed several times . His initial release date was set for May 8, 2028.
