Australian Alex de Minaur secured a landmark 350th career tour-level win with a clinical 7-6, 6-2 victory over Matteo Berrettini, booking his place in the semi-finals of the Vienna Open. The milestone makes him just the ninth Australian man to reach 350 match wins, joining an elite group of Aussie tennis royalty including Lleyton Hewitt (616), John Alexander (591), Rod Laver (576), John Newcombe (568), Ken Rosewall (546), Phil Dent (414), Tony Roche (364) and Pat Rafter (358).

Getty Images Europe De Minaur now faces Alexander Zverev , who will officially overtake Jannik Sinner to become the world No.1 on Monday when the ATP publishes their rankings. The German arrives at the semi-final in peak form after dismantling Britain’s Arthur Fery 6-0, 6-2.
Despite Zverev’s ascension to the top of the rankings, De Minaur brings a distinct edge to the match up having claimed victory in their last two encounters on the indoor hard court surface at the Laver Cup in 2025 and 2026. However, Zverev still holds the favourite status in individual tournament play, having recently defeated De Minaur at the Shanghai Masters.
“That’s the aim. That’s the type of matches that you want to be playing against the best in the world,” De Minaur said after his quarter-final victory. "Right now he is the best in the world.
I am excited for that one. "Hopefully, I can put on a battle tomorrow." The winner will advance to face either Daniil Medvedev or Carlos Alcaraz, who headline the other semi final in the lower half of the draw.
