The makers of the blockbuster spy thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge are officially gunning for Grammy glory. Production houses launched a massive ‘For Your Grammy Consideration’ campaign on October 9, 2026, submitting the Ranveer Singh-starrer’s hit soundtrack for the 69th Annual Grammy Awards across nine categories.

The Aditya Dhar directorial’s soundtrack — already the second-highest-grossing Indian film soundtrack of all time will now feature on the initial ballots for Recording Academy voting members. However, a submission is not a nomination. The entries must first clear the Academy’s strict eligibility rules and survive first-round voting before the final nominees are announced.

At the heart of their strategy is a clever remix play. The core track, Hum Pyaar Karne Wale, has been submitted for Best Remixed Recording. By entering a remix, the makers are speaking directly to the producers, DJs, and electronic creators who dominate that voting bloc.

That push is backed by Vaari Jaavan, submitted for Best Dance/Electronic Recording. Together, the two entries reposition composer Shashwat Sachdev not just as a Bollywood music director, but as a modern, club-ready electronic producer who can stand alongside Western heavyweights.
