Municipal administration minister HC Balakrishna Mysuru: Municipal administration minister HC Balakrishna on Thursday challenged Union minister HD Kumaraswamy to hand over all documents and evidence related to the alleged sting operation video controversy to the CBI for investigation instead of making allegations every day.

Speaking to reporters, Balakrishna said Kumaraswamy, being a Union minister, could easily refer the matter to the CBI, which comes under the Union govt. “Let him hand over all the documents and evidence he has to the CBI and allow it to investigate the matter. Instead of making allegations every morning, he should initiate an investigation,” he said.

Taking a dig at Kumaraswamy, Balakrishna described him as a chameleon who frequently changes his stance, making it difficult to predict his next move. “Kumaraswamy is like a chameleon. It is difficult to predict when and how he will change colours.

Earlier, he used to be furious with Siddaramaiah , but now he is expressing concern for him, saying that this should not have happened to Siddaramaiah. Kumaraswamy’s show of affection can be dangerous. I distanced myself from him after understanding him and his ways,” Balakrishna said.

Balakrishna also questioned Kumaraswamy’s frequent interactions with the media, alleging that the Union minister appeared to be preoccupied with making allegations every day. “Have you seen any other Union minister in the country holding press conferences every day? We are used to seeing ministers speak once a week or once a month.

But Kumaraswamy’s job seems to be to wake up every morning and make allegations,” he said.
