And they believe the crowd can provide an extra spark as they celebrate the home opener. "I expect it to be pretty awesome," said Head Coach Jim Montgomery. "Blues fans are walking around town the last month, they can't wait for the season to start.

Barron joined the Blues on Sept. 27 after being claimed off waivers from the Nashville Predators but has yet to see game action with his new team. "A little bit more of a veteran presence," Montgomery said of what Barron brings to the lineup.
"You watch him out there, he does everything at an NHL level. He moves the puck, he skates, his reads. I think he's going to help with a lot of calmness and poise out there." The below lineup is based on Thursday's morning skate at Enterprise Center.
